To take advantage of generous pre-war ceiling heights in this tiny 1-bdr apartment, a steel and acrylic gallery was inserted over the kitchen space, creating a work area above and clearly delineating kitchen, dining and living zones. The gallery also allows access to space above bedroom closet, creating additional storage.
